I LOVE and admire nature.

I have been photographing nature, mostly birds, for almost 10 years now and have been honing my skills over time. With this gallery, I hope to bring some of the joy I have had in experiencing these images to others.

I take photographs purely in their natural environment (with whatever existing human artifacts that may be already present) and do not alter the scenes in any way. My photoshop edits are limited to lighting, color, noise and sharpness adjustments. I do not clone or brush up elements other than dust-spots from camera lens.

Most of my images are taken when traveling or while hiking and birdwatching. Under the Essays tab, I share more information about some of these travels, photography techniques, links to my e-Bird reports, etc. My eBird profile can be found here.
